Hours are a guess
Written down on Friday, from memory, by someone who was flat out. Nobody trusts the number, and the argument happens on payday.
Built on site, not in an office
Clock-ons, pre-starts, plant and paperwork in one place. Your leading hands run it off a phone. You see the whole job before smoko.

The problem
The dash of a ute, a group chat, a spreadsheet someone rebuilds every Friday, a folder of pre-starts nobody has read, and two blokes' memories.
Written down on Friday, from memory, by someone who was flat out. Nobody trusts the number, and the argument happens on payday.
A signed pre-start in a folder in a ute is not a record you can produce. You find that out on the day someone asks.
A crew stood around for two hours, a machine went out unchecked, a sheet never got signed. You hear about it Thursday, when it cost you Tuesday.
Illustrations of what a job runs on today. Not live screens.
What it does
The bloke taps once when he starts and once when he finishes. Times come off the job, not off a memory. Timesheets build themselves as the week goes.
See timesheetsThe sheet gets signed before the machine moves, on the phone, with the signature attached. If it isn't signed you can see it, from the office, right now.
See pre-startsEvery machine has a register, a service interval and a history. You find out a service is due before it's overdue, not after it's broken down.
See the plant registerOne screen that says who clocked on, which job they're on, and which machines went out. Not to watch anyone. So you can answer the question.

No app store, no login every morning, no training day. It opens on the phone he already has, it works with no signal and catches up when he gets it, and it asks him for the least it can get away with.

Questions
About an hour. You add your workers, add your machines, and name your first job. Have a list of names with mobile numbers, and your plant with rego or fleet numbers, and you'll be running the same day. Your crew get a text with a link. There's nothing to install.
It's four taps and it opens on the phone they already carry. No app store, no password every morning. The ones who hate paperwork tend to like it fastest, because it's the paperwork it gets rid of.
It keeps working. Clock-ons and signed sheets are held on the phone and go up the moment there's coverage, with the original time, not the time it synced.
No, and we'd talk you out of it. Start with one crew on one job. Once that week runs clean, add the next.
It doesn't run your payroll, and it never holds a pay rate. What it does is take the week you've already approved and send it straight to Xero as a draft timesheet, so nobody retypes it. Your bookkeeper approves it in Xero the same way they would a timesheet someone typed in. Ordinary and overtime hours both go across, and fortnightly pay runs work too. Leave, allowances and super stay in Xero where they belong.
Change plan whenever, no renegotiation. Past 30 on the books get in touch and we'll sort a price that fits.
See the week before it gets away from you. If it hasn't paid for itself by the end of the trial, walk away.
